Dinner and a Movie Celebrates National Canadian Film Day
Calgary, AB – The votes are in for Heritage Park’s final Dinner and a Movie of the season. In celebration of National Canadian Film Day, we asked the public to cast their votes for the April 19th evening and The Grand Seduction came out on top!
This charming tale, starring Taylor Kitsch and Brendon Gleeson, takes place in a sleepy fishing town in Newfoundland and involves the clever scheming of the entire town to convince a young doctor to set up shop there. Before the film in Gasoline Alley Museum, guests will get into an East Coast state of mind with a themed three-course dinner. The meal starts with hearty corn chowder, followed by macaroni and cheese with tempura Atlantic lobster and grilled asparagus, and wraps up with an old fashioned berry shortcake with Chantilly cream.
Reserve your table today! Dinner and a Movie is $42.95 plus GST per person or $8.00 for the movie alone. Dinner reservations may be made between 5 p.m. and 6:45 p.m., with show time commencing at 7:45p.m. A popcorn cart and a cash bar will be open during the film.
