Make your family's history part of Heritage Park's history with a unique opportunity to record your own memories at Canada's largest living historical village.

By participating in the $1 Million Heritage Legacy Builders' Challenge you can celebrate those precious memories in your family history right in the Park. We have designed a number of exciting and innovative ways for all Albertans to publicly and permanently commemorate the important people and events that deserve to be remembered.

Join thousands of Albertans who are committed to preserving the story of the settlement and development of Western Canada for the benefit of current and future generations. Here are some unique ways you can make your historical mark at the Park.

Mark your special memory along the promenade of history with a $10,000 contribution...
You can celebrate a special family memory, a significant corporate milestone, an anniversary, a special birthday or a key event at the appropriate decade marker along the promenade. Your family or corporate name will be etched on concrete dividers along the promenade of history which begins at 2010 and makes its way back in time through the park to the year 1900.

Shine a little light on the past with a $5,000 contribution...
Your family or corporate name will be etched on a recognition plaque on a light standard located in the new development at Heritage Park where thousands will visit each year.

Commemorate your heritage on a memory bench with a $3,000 contribution...
Honour a family member, ancestor or friend by having their family name or corporate name displayed on a recognition plaque on a memory bench located in the Park.

Plant your history in our memory groves with a $1,000 contribution...
Donors at this level will have their family name or corporate name displayed on a sign in beautiful groves of trees throughout the Park.

Write your name on our donor board with a $500 contribution...
Donors at this level will have their family name or corporate name displayed on a donor board located in the Heritage Town Square.

Unique Annual Sponsorship Opportunities with our Legacy Adoptions Program...
We have two amazing sponsorship opportunities. First, for the gear head in your family, you can sponsor a beautifully restored antique automobile in the world-class Gasoline Alley Museum for a $1,500 annual contribution. Also up for adoption are some of the finest examples of Heritage homes and historical architecture in Western Canada. Many of these buildings have already outlived their intended lifespan by many decades and despite ongoing TLC, there is always something that needs fixing or replacing and it is essential to us that this maintenance be done as well and as historically accurate as possible. These sponsorships range from $1,500 to $10,000 depending on the site you wish to adopt.

Both sponsorships include a tax receipt according to CRA guidelines, name recognition displayed on a plaque and on-site and an invitation to an annual Thank You reception.
