Volunteering

Volunteering at Heritage Park is a fun-filled, rewarding experience. Our volunteers enjoy the knowledge that they are working for a charitable organization charged with delivering important and enduring heritage programming to our community and beyond.

Thank you to all our current volunteers — and welcome to our future volunteers! Heritage Park holds all its volunteers in high regard, and if you have not registered as one, we hope you will. There are many opportunities for all ages and groups.

Youth and family volunteering is encouraged at Heritage Park. You may volunteer at age 10, although you’ll need a parental consent form, and you must be accompanied by a parent who is also a registered volunteer until you are 15.

How to apply as a NEW Park volunteer: Learn what the Park has to offer by reviewing the Current Volunteer Opportunities. Fill out the NEW Volunteer Registration and  NEW Volunteer Opportunities forms and then scan them in to send via email, or return by fax or mail.

Information sessions are offered the first Thursday of every month from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
The next session will be held on April 3, 2014
.

At this meeting, you will have the opportunity to meet with Bonnie Pritchard, Volunteer Coordinator for Heritage Park.  Bonnie will discuss volunteer opportunities at the Park, as well as Park requirements and expectations.
The Volunteer Centre is located on the second floor of the Administration building.  Enter through Security and they will direct you to the elevator to the second floor.
