The Prince House lawn or gazebo, Didsbury Bandstand, or the treed area at Rancher's Hall are popular venues for outdoor ceremonies May through October.

A unique opportunity awaits aboard the S.S. Moyie as you exchange your vows upon the water of the Glenmore Reservoir. Consider completing your ceremony with a Champagne Toast to the Bride and Groom. Available May through October.

Let Heritage Park's horse-drawn carriage escort you around the Park as you get your wedding photos taken at the many picturesque settings.

When you are planning a memorable picnic for up to 1000 people, what better place than Heritage Park?

We will reserve our spacious Celebration Tent for your party and set up a glorious buffet lunch.

Your guests will have our main field for family festivities, and of course the whole town will be alive with activity.

Corporate Seminars

If you would like to get out of the office for a day, we have the perfect spot for you.

Are you looking for a facility for a small corporate gathering, seminar or team building event? Rancher's Hall, located in a tranquil setting in the Park Settlement area, has a natural rustic charm, which boasts the tradition and comfort of yesteryear.

The Gunn's Dairy Barn, yes it truly was a dairy barn, is ideal for a mid to large size group meeting or seminar. This two-story venue provides an opportunity for breakout space on the upper level. Meal service is on the main floor.

Daytime Seminars can be booked from September through April only.

Western BBQ

How do you entertain 500 to 5000 people all evening?
Let them loose at Heritage Park.

First, we will do up a real Western Barbeque of prime Alberta beef with all the "fixins". Then we will hand over the keys of our town to you.

Your guests may choose to tour the Park by steam train, paddle wheeler, carriage or horse-drawn wagon. Ride back in time at our antique amusement park and even witness a wild-west gunfight.

We will serve up a heart stopping 'bronco-bustin' rodeo. No need to entertain these folks, they will be having too much fun.

A Company Christmas Party

Deck our halls this Christmas!

The traditional atmosphere of the Wainwright Hotel is a seasonal favorite.

Perhaps cocktails in the saloon, followed by a traditional turkey dinner or a Festive Deluxe buffet dinner with all the trimmings.

Following dessert, tour the Park by moonlight on horse drawn wagons, sing carols with a barbershop quartet and finish by two-stepping the night away with a country band.

A good time will be had by all!

Client Receptions

Perhaps you have invited 100 guests for the evening.

After a cocktail cruise on the S.S. Moyie, complete with a jazz quartet, your guests can stroll through the town. Suddenly a Wild West gunfight breaks out. When the dust and laughter settle, lead them to Gunn's Dairy Barn.

It is the perfect setting for an old-fashioned meal of prime rib or Alberta Beef 'au jus' with Yorkshire pudding, or a boneless leg of lamb with pan gravy and mint jelly. Add a piano player and they will sing your praises all the way home.

Gasoline Alley
Up to 400 guests can dine among our one-of-a-kind vintage automobiles, or invite 1200 guests to roam the exhibits and enjoy a stand up cocktail reception.

Millarville Rancher's Hall
For a small intimate dinner or wedding reception, in a rustic setting, consider the Millarville Rancher's Hall. Located in the tranquil settlement area of Heritage Park, this venue offers the charm of simpler times and boasts a colorful social history. Built in 1895, the hall hosted casual dances and fancy dress balls, political rallies and boxing matches.

Wainwright Hotel
For a more formal dinner reception consider the fashionably decorated Wainwright Hotel. In the elaborate style popular at the turn of the century, the hotel replica features a beautiful entrance, authentic saloon, and elegant dining room.

Gunn's Dairy Barn
Yes, it truly was a dairy barn . . . complete with cattle in the stalls and hay in the loft. This fully refurbished casual venue offers a western ambiance ideal for mid to large wedding receptions or fun corporate functions. Meal service is provided on the main floor, while the upper level provides a stage and hardwood floor for an authentic barn dance.

This intimate setting creates the perfect atmosphere for a unique wedding. The wooden pews, authentic potbellied stove, and narrow windows create a warm glow in this 1896 exhibit.

Chautauqua Tent
May to October. For a casual evening gathering consider the Chautauqua Tent with stage, western decor, and bar service.

Celebration Tent

Exhibits & Rides
Experience the entire town by enjoying exhibits and rides. The Amusement Park, the train, the S.S. Moyie, horse-drawn wagon rides, the antique bus, carriages, and exhibits are all available for your use.
