Heritage Town Square represents a prairie urban streetscape from the 1930s, 40s and 50s - an era when sandstone was king and big band music filled the air.
Summer in the Square
-Enjoy history in motion with a ride on the ENMAX Electric Streetcar System. Hop on at the Bissett Wetlands or midway through the parking lot and depart at the Town Square. Streetcar fare is $1.00 or free for those with an Annual Pass with Rides. Runs daily during July and August.
-The Hopewell Summer Music Series presents free, live music on select Wednesday evenings. Book a table on the patio of the Selkirk Grille or bring a blanket to enjoy the music from the green space.
-Find unique treasures and extraordinary gifts in the shops of the Haskayne Mercantile Block
-Enjoy a leisurely lunch or dinner on the patio of the Selkirk Grille, or coffee and a sandwich at the Railway Café.
-Discover the impact the automobile had on society in the world-class Gasoline Alley Museum.
