Heritage Park Calgary Alberta Canada

Casually Elegant. Uniquely Vintage. Distinctly Canadian.

A historic engine, clad in red, stands outside Heritage Park. One of only two remaining Tlc Canadian Pacific steam engines.

Before the late 1950s, the largest, heaviest and very nearly most powerful steam locomotives in the commonwealth would roar through the Rocky Mountains bringing goods and people. At their height, the Selkirk class engines were nicknamed “King of the Rockies”.

The Selkirk engine, like its fallen brethren, represents strength and distinction, and holds a special place in Canadian history. Heritage Park has become home to Engine #5931 in its retirement. And to honour its historical relevance and local significance, the Park is proud that our flagship restaurant bears its name.

Come find out how the west was once over a casually elegant lunch or dinner at Heritage Park's Selkirk Grille.

Celebrate the strength and distinction of our Canadian past.

Gaston, your Maitre d’ will be happy to serve you.
