An update from Heritage Park Historical Village
September 19, 2018
Since 1964 Heritage Park has been a part of the fabric of this city; delivering rich and engaging programming to generations of families, introducing new Calgarians to the diverse history of their new home, and immersing hundreds of thousands of schoolchildren in this living classroom. We provide the perfect backdrop for countless dream weddings, holiday festivities and know how to put on a corporate BBQ of historic proportions.
Although Heritage Park is dealing with some unprecedented issues outside of our control, the management team and Board of Directors wish to assure Calgarians that we are actively seeking solutions to these challenges and will continue to work hard to provide meaningful experiences to our guests.
There are no changes planned to the length of Heritage Park’s operating season, or our operating hours. The Historical Village continues to be open weekends through Thanksgiving, and will reopen for the summer in May as scheduled. Gasoline Alley Museum remains open year-round.
Heritage Park will also remain open for all of your current and future catered events, weddings, parties, meetings and company functions, as will our restaurants and retail operations.
Thank you, Calgary for your outpouring of support for Heritage Park.
Heritage Park is a registered charity and Canada’s largest living history museum. Your support allows Heritage Park to preserve and present Western Canadian heritage and culture, for generations to come.Back to News Listing
