Join the "Friends of Heritage Park"
The ‘Friends of Heritage Park’ are a unique group of people dedicated to supporting Western Canadian ranching history and the cowboy’s way of life. For 2016, the Park is undertaking the refurbishment of the Rodeo Grounds at the Burnside Ranch House and we are looking forward to great entertainment and exceptional rodeo action during the summers to come.
The farm animals, wagon rides, ranch house cooking, and exhibits, tell the life experiences of the settlers from the south, and those who came on the colonist cars from the east. We look forward to sharing the stories of living in a soddy, building log barns, repairing fences and raising livestock on the range. The settlement of Western Canada is a wonderful history to experience!
We hope you will become an annual member of the Friends of Heritage Park, as we come together to support the western, ranch and agricultural components of the Park. Albertans need a place to reminisce life on the ranches, the chores of cowboys and cowgirls, and the “community spirit” of a Rodeo Day!
Please mark your calendars for the spectacular day of fun, food and Rodeo….Saturday, August 6, 2016.
Spread the word and join in the support of Canada’s largest living history museum! With your $200 membership, you will receive:
