Questions About Bench Dedications
Who decides where the memorial bench or picnic table is placed?
Heritage Park staff will help you choose a location to place your bench or table, and will do their best to accommodate specific location requests.
How long does it take?
Once the application has been completed, it takes approximately 6 weeks to get the bench or table installed in its location.
How much does it cost to dedicate a bench or table?
It costs $3,000 to sponsor a memorial bench or $4,000 to dedicate a picnic table for 10 years.
Are bench and picnic table dedications, tax-deductible?
Yes, tax receipts will be issued for the full donation amount.
How long do they last?
The benches and tables are in place for 10 years and are maintained by the Park.
Are bench dedication plaques available?
Each bench or picnic table comes with a commemorative plaque with wording of the donor’s choice.
