Are you interested in learning how to make your own body products with natural ingredients? Maybe with the honey and wax from the beehive in your own backyard?
Learn the benefits of making your own body products in this informative hands-on workshop. In this class you will learn how to make 3 different products (salve, lip balm, and solid lotion bar) with simple and easy to source ingredients. You will also make one of the recipes yourself in the workshop to take home with you, along with 4 recipes and a comprehensive handout.
Sara Haney, owner of Apple Tree Sustainables is passionate about making safe body and cleaning products that can be made in your kitchen with a few simple ingredients. Her knowledge of herbs, wild crafting, essential oils and urban homesteading, alongside her degrees in biology, education, and permaculture, provide a breadth of knowledge for you to make your own safe body products at home.

About the bees at Heritage Park:
Heritage Park is pleased to partner again this year with Apiaries & Bees for Communities to host six honey bee hives through the Bees4Communities Program. These hives are managed by A.B.C. Bees on behalf of their corporate partners.
