Fiber Preparation and Advanced Spinning Techniques

Pre-requisite: Spin Me a Yarn - Intermediate Spinning or previous wheel experience
Learn to spin different weights of yarn for specific projects such as for delicate crochet shawl or chunky cowls. This course will cover more advanced spinning techniques as well as fiber preparation.
With drafting techniques under your belt, we will focus on spinning from different fiber preparations; If you have any fiber that you specifically want to learn to spin, please bring those along too. We will be focusing on different drafting techniques, so top, roving and rolags are suggested (you can also make rolags in class). You are welcome to bring fiber to make one in class, or bring a batt along if you already have one.
You are encouraged to bring your own drop spindle or wheel.
