Think about how many cars you see on the road every day. Were Calgary’s roads always so crowded? Go back one hundred years and see how automobile manufacturing was revolutionized by techniques developed by Henry Ford. Learn all about the time-saving, cost-reducing manufacturing process called the assembly line in this interactive program. Visit our Lower Showroom and Husky Station to find out more about these mass-produced cars and the conglomeration of simple machines that make them tick.

Additional Information

Exploring the Park before or after a school program is NOT permitted. The Village is closed at this time.

Each program is designed for a maximum of 30 students due to space restrictions within the buildings. If you have additional students please call the education team to discuss if this accommodation can be made. The program fee includes 30 students and the adult supervisors within the required ratio. Teachers are included in this ratio. A fee will be charged for any additional students or adults. There is no charge for one-on-one aids. If paying for any additional adults and/or students, no refund will be granted if numbers change the day of the program. The credit card used for payment will be kept on file until the completion of the program.
