Health and Safety at Heritage Park
Heritage Park has started a journey to become COR Certified and we are doing this to help ensure the physical and emotional safety of all our employees, guests and contractors here at Heritage Park. We value each and every one of you and want you to enjoy your time on the Park without incident. Of course we want you to go home, when you do, a little better than when you came!
Coming to the Park? Follow the Rules!
Heritage Park is committed to providing a physically and emotionally healthy and safe environment for everyone – staff, volunteers and our guests. We ask that you respect these rules and policies so that everyone can have a good time. Please also review our policies on unaccompanied youth and photo/video image use.
- Walk, rather than run… take your time to enjoy everything!
- Keep noise levels respectable, act safely and have a good time. Please remain fully clothed (ex. shirt, bottoms and footwear), and please no profanity as this is a family-friendly space.
- Heritage Park is a smoke-free environment. Smoking (including e-cigarettes) is only allowed in designated areas. As per the City of Calgary bylaw 23M2018, consumption of cannabis products is not allowed anywhere on the Park.
- Keep the following items at home: Fidget spinners, balls, Frisbees, balloons, bicycles, tricycles, rollerblades/skates, heelies, skateboards, drugs and alcohol, hackeysacks, scooters and any noisemakers or musical instruments.
- Pets (with the exception of licenced service animals) of any kind are not allowed at Heritage Park. Please do NOT leave pets unattended in your vehicle in warm weather. Leave them at home or with a proper caregiver.
All children under the age of twelve must be accompanied by a responsible adult while visiting the Heritage Park – there are no exceptions.
To report a lost child, call (403) 268-8500. If possible stay where you are and security will come to you. Our security office is located in the Haskayne Mercantile Block building, through the green double door, directly beneath the clock tower.
