Heritage Day

Celebrate Our Heritage This Heritage Day

10a.m.- 5p.m.

Celebrate Western Canada's diverse culture and heritage with a step back in time!

Experience life in four distinct time periods of Western Canadian history as you explore Heritage Park by foot, antique steam train or by horse-drawn wagon! Hop onboard the S.S. Moyie paddlewheel boat for a refreshing sail on the Glenmore Reservoir, wander through the streets of a 1910 town and go for a spin on five vintage midway rides!

Kick up your heels with the Chinook Country Line Dancers and view the beautiful vintage cars on display courtesy of the Nifty Fifties Ford Club.

Enjoy traditional Blackfoot songs, dancing and drumming in the First Nations Encampment at 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30pm.

Meet the baby farm animals at the Ranch, learn about the artist's connection to our National Parks and cool down in the coal mine.

Pick up some delicious treats available throughout the Park, enjoy a picnic to go on the lawn or reserve your table for an afternoon tea on the verandah.

Afternoon Tea on the Verandah on August 2.  Click here for more information.
