Once a necessity for settlers on the prairies to ensure there was more than bread and potatoes to eat during the winter, canning is the perfect way to capture to ripe and juicy flavours from your own backyard (or local Farmer’s Market). Master the centuries-old art of home canning and enjoy the sweet and succulent flavours of summer that you’ve captured on your own.
Hands-on workshop, apron required. Participants will receive a small jar of the item they helped prepare.
