Home on the Range Overnight Camp
Your campers will live like true pioneers in Heritage Park's overnight camp program. For five days and four nights campers will be fully immersed in the past, from sunrise to sunset and beyond!
They'll sleep in a bunkhouse, explore the Park after dark and get to see behind the scenes of the Historical Village in a way few people ever experience.

COVID-19 safety protocols will be in place as per Alberta Health Services guidelines. Information sessions will be held for parents and campers on June 23 and June 29 from 7:00 – 8:00pm. Please attend one of these evenings if you are new to the program.
The Home on the Range overnight camp has a fee of $570 + GST.
How to Register
Registration opens February 2th, 2021 for annual pass holders. You will be required to provide your valid annual pass number during the checkout process.
Registration opens February 9th, 2021 for the general public.
All campers are loaned a historically accurate costume that must be worn each day of camp. The costume pieces must all be returned in good condition on the last day of camp.
Footwear is the responsibility of the parent or guardian. If available, preferred footwear for boys and girls includes lace-up leather shoes or boots in brown or black leather, or a plain leather slip-on shoe. No sandals, sneakers or flip-flops please.
Food will be provided for the Home on the Range overnight immersion program and is included in your fees. Your child’s dietary information will be collected once registration confirmation has been made.
For the safety of your child, we ask that you please advise Heritage Park of any medical conditions your child may have at the time of registration. This includes allergies to dust, dander, animals, etc., as participants may be taking a horse-drawn wagon ride and will be exposed to animals.
An informed consent form will be included in your registration package. This must be completed, signed and returned to Heritage Park a minimum of two weeks before camp starts.
Withdrawals and transfers
A $100 administration fee will be retained, for any camper who withdraws three weeks or less before the start of their camp program. Transfers are permitted up to one week before the start of camp, and are subject to availability. No refunds or transfers will be permitted once the camp has begun. Heritage Park requires a minimum of seven participants per camp. In the event that a camp does not fill to minimum requirements, Heritage Park reserves the right to cancel the camp. In such cases, fees will be refunded in full to the camp registrants.
