Making Moccasins

Join instructor Janis Laboucane, a Metis artist and Educational Interpreter at Heritage Park, as she teaches us the art of Making Moccasins. In this two-day workshop, you will learn the history and significance of moccasins in the Metis culture. You will complete pair of deer hide moccasins. All supplies will be provided. Some hand-sewing experience is recommended. No refunds will be issued unless the event is cancelled by Heritage Park. Participants must show proof of vaccination and government-issued identification. Masks must be worn indoors.
