This popular series of free concerts is back for another season, featuring some of Alberta’s finest musical talent. Each concert opens with an outstanding young performer from the Stampede Talent Search.

Performances are free of charge and take place before the Park gate in the Engineered Air Bandstand.

Bring a blanket, pack a picnic or dine on the patio of the Selkirk Grille while enjoying two hours of live music. Heritage Park’s Railway Café will be offering a variety of sandwiches, bakery items and drinks (perfect for picnics). The unique shops of the Haskayne Mercantile Block will remain open and the Selkirk Grille’s patio is the perfect place to enjoy a frosty beverage, fine food and fabulous music – reservations required.

Remember to leave your pets at home, and bring your friends and family to enjoy this lovely free evening of music. Rain or Shine

Jacquie Drew and the Crew

We’re kicking off our season with one of Calgary’s top country-roots bands. This crew emphasizes Canadian Country-folk-rock-pop favorites with a boost of compelling and catchy originals as well.

Matt Masters and friends

Matt is an award winning Calgary guitar playing singer and songwriter of original country and western music with a contemporary edge. Together with some talented sidekicks, Matt will provide an evening of music you won’t soon forget.

The Spokeshaves

This family band from Okotoks will delight you with their vast repertoire. From fiddle and folk tunes to charming classical miniatures, the Spokeshaves appeal to any musical taste.

The SHADOWPLAY Band

The SHADOWPLAY sound is a unique blend of jazz, funk and Latin featuring some of Calgary’s top musicians. The band puts on an energetic performance, guaranteed to get you up and moving.

The Wandering Vs

Come and experience the sound of one of the most versatile bands you’ll ever hear. The Wandering Vs are an original country, rock and folk band who’ll wow you with their vast repertoire of favorite tunes.

The Penny Sanborn Trio

Music in the Plaza welcomes back the Penny Sanborn trio. Their chic and attractive style features European jazz, French musette, tango and Italian music.

The Doll Sisters

This fiery Celtic, Americana duo weaves haunting harmonies and stellar songwriting into an unforgettable experience. Fusing influences from their Irish and Scottish heritage with elements of roots and rock, they produce a sound that is uniquely theirs.

The Andre Wickenheiser Trio

He has performed with some of the finest jazz musicians in North America. Now, Andre Wickenheiser brings his stellar trumpet playing to the Music in the Plaza stage. Backed by some of Calgary’s jazz superstars, Andre presents a performance you won’t want to miss.
