Claresholm General Store (Heritage Park's old-fashioned candy store)

S.A. Mostad was part of a group of Norwegian immigrants from drought-stricken Devil's Lake, North Dakota, who built his general store in Claresholm, circa 1905. He proudly watched it become the hub of social and economic life in the small prairie town.

Today, a visit to Heritage Park's old-fashioned candy store is a tradition loved by guests of all ages.
